Quarantine Home Office Improvement

After my first week working from home in my art studio, I realized my makeshift home office in the corner of my studio was not going to cut it. A little Spring cleaning and online shopping was necessary to turn things around. Now Im ready to hunker down for however long I need to be sequestered at home.

Hand Held DustBuster

In my office, the cleaning ladies slay any crumbs and dried flower petals strewn on my desk. Under quarantine a investment in a handheld vac was necessary, hence BLACK+DECKER dusbuster Handheld Vacuum, Cordless, Flexi Blue (HHVI315JO42) It arrives this week.

Tripod Selfie Ring Light

I have been on a never ending parade of ZOOM calls since I have been working from home. Lighting is everything so I invested in 10″ Selfie Ring Light with 50″ Extendable Tripod Stand & Flexible Phone Holder features 3 light colors (Warm, Cool White, Daylight) and 11 levels brightness in each color. The tripod extends from 16″ to 50″, and even comes with comes with a Bluetooth remote.

Blue Light Blocking Glasses

Non stop video conference calls and mass influx of email means, eye strain from the computer screen. I noticed my co-worker wearing a cool pair of glasses, turns out they are Blue Light Blocking Glasses. I ordered the Snow Fleck pair, they arrive this week. If they work, i’m going to get a pairs for my staff.

There are never enough USB Ports available when needing to plug in all my devices. So I broke down and ordered this 4-Port USB 3.0 Hub with Individual LED Power Switches.

Chair Mat

My desk chair and area rug were dueling. I tripped three times my first day working from home. Yeah, that wasn’t going to work, so I got this 46″x 60″ Clear Rectangle Office Chair Mat For Low Pile Carpet and i’ve been golden ever since.

I stole the good office guest chair, second HDMI monitor, hand held calculator and stapler from McCarty’s Sky Garden Gallery’s office.
