To say I’ve been grinding since the beginning of the new year is an understatement. Hustle harder vibes have me I’m feeling extra spicy and on edge.
Leaving the Calm app behind for beach breezes, the sound of the waves and the chirping birds as my morning wake up call in St. Croix is the restorative respite I need.
From Santa Monica to St Croix and some amazing fly overs in between this is the best of my travel beach life in 2018.

If you are friends with McCarty you may be a lucky recipient of one of 24 Wood Block Prints of a sail boat viewed through a port hole, that i made for his holiday gifts.
The Port Hole series is inspired by our Caribbean sailing adventures.
I used Purple Speedball block print ink, Distress Stain, Gelatos, Watercolors, Acrylic paint on Hamilco white card stock. Each 7″x5″ print is unique.

I’m never doing nothing. Even on vacation, I like to capture the moment with a quick sketch or watercolor story. Long after, I’ve returned to real life, when I review these works, i’m still whisked away to the beach.
